Holy basil or tulsi is my ace-in-the-hand for personal stress relief. I discovered this powerful Ayurvedic herb when I was recovering from adrenal fatigue. Taking just a small amount daily, allowed me to be cool, calm and collected so my body could heal and handle stress with ease. This holy basil extract is very strong and only a little is needed to be effective. You can add ¼-1/2 teaspoon to your smoothie or to a hot cup of water to make a calming tea.

Recipe

Holy Basil Chai Spiced Latte Tea

For Tea:
1 cup water
1/2 tsp Kev’s Super-Nutritious Holy Basil
1/2 tsp Kev’s Super-Delicious Ceylon Cinnamon (Powder)
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp cardamom
Pinch of Vanilla Powder
1-2 tsp lucuma powder (or another sweetener you enjoy)
Add all ingredients and let simmer for at least 20 min.

When the tea is done simmering, strain into a mug and add your choice of milk (coconut, almond, hemp, or dairy.)
